My Thoughts About Therapy

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I think psychotherapy should be a collaborative approach with the client and the therapist to create goals and work together that is individualized and makes sense for the client. Different types of psychotherapy provide unique benefits and can guide the client through their journey by addressing patterns and gaining insight and tools for change to occur.

My Role as a Therapist

To create a safe space while using empathy and authenticity to build a trusting relationship. My role is to support emotional healing while encouraging growth and change.
