Haleigh Creamer

Counselor, (she, her)

I am a partner at Leek Therapy and I'm so glad you're here. Searching and reaching out to a therapist is a major step- nice job taking that initiative! My focus is on building a genuine connection with you, where you feel truly comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings. I have had the privilege of working extensively with individuals across the lifespan in community mental health settings, as well as specialized work with Division I athletes at Boston College, where I provided tailored support to navigate the unique challenges they face.

I help people understand how their early life experiences shape who they are today, working together to uncover patterns and build a deeper self-awareness. My approach focuses on recognizing your strengths, supporting your resilience, empowering you to make positive changes, and building healthier relationships.

My approach combines psychodynamic, strengths-based, relational, and person-centered therapies to support your journey toward self-acceptance and personal growth.

My Thoughts about Therapy

My View on Psychotherapy

I see the purpose of psychotherapy as helping people better understand themselves and their experiences so they can live more authentically. It’s about fostering self-awareness, emotional healing, and personal growth. The goal is to provide clients with the tools they need to manage life's challenges in a way that feels empowering and sustainable.

What I Love About Being a Therapist

What I love about being a therapist is getting to be part of people's most vulnerable and transformative moments. It’s incredibly fulfilling to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood while they work through their struggles. Seeing that growth and trust build over time is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can help by being a supportive space where people can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insight, and develop practical coping strategies, empowering them to make meaningful changes in their lives.
