Counselor, LMHC (she, her)
I predominantly work with adolescents, young adults, and adults in the following areas: trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety and phobias, mood disorders, and personality disorders. My therapeutic approach is strengths based and person centered. I strive to provide a non-judgmental, safe space to problem solve, work through struggles, and build effective coping skills. Our life experiences and stressors can make this feel extremely difficult. Maybe you’ve tried to do this on your own, but feel stuck. I want to help you to feel unstuck!
I believe that each person holds the key to their own healing. I use evidence-based strategies such as EMDR, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you understand, care, and heal yourself from anxiety, stress, and trauma. I use a somatic approach to treatment, utilizing my years of experience working with child age persons into later adulthood.
I encourage you to reach out and step out of your comfort zone. I understand how overwhelming it can be to make this initial step to seek counseling. I am dedicated to providing supportive care and believe a trusting therapeutic relationship is key. Lets see if we can begin making small steps toward meeting your goals together.

What I Love About being a Therapist
There are a few reasons I love being a therapist. It is an honor and a privilege to play a part in someones story. I get to join people on their journey through life and help them along the way as we over come obstacles and gain a sense of healing. It makes me happy to see people feel better about themselves, learn how to do something they couldn’t before, or heal something that was preventing them from living their best life.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have been in therapy for years, it is never too late to grow, evolve, and progress towards new beginnings. My goal is to help you heal in a space that is free of judgement, where you can feel comfortable, safe, and secure. I highly value the therapeutic relationship and believe that this is the root to successful therapy!
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Therapy is not a one size fits all and I work to collaborate with my clients, encouraging them to be in the driver seat when it comes to their treatment and goals. One of the goals of therapy is to inspire change and improve the quality of life through self-awareness and self-exploration. Therapy can provide you with the needed tools to manage your emotions and improve your overall wellness. I approach my work with clients through a trauma informed and attachment lens.
